Jose Perez y Heck

Jose started his career in Germany and Austria working in each department of a hotel's operation, including front office, sales and marketing, catering, and purchasing prior to specializing in the operations of restaurants, banquets and kitchens. His work experience includes opening three hotel properties producing a total revenue of 35 million annually, in addition to creating business plans, service standards and training manuals for 15 restaurant openings from quick service to all-day dining and Michelin starred restaurants. Jose oversaw banquet operations of 15,000 square feet generating 15 million in revenue annually, restaurant operations generating 8 million annually, supervised staff of 120 managers and employees and led the planning and implementation of a pilot POS project for all Mandarin Oriental Hotels worldwide. He is currently a Property Expert in POS Micros and a Certified Property Service Culture trainer and a Certified Sommelier.
