Courtyard by Marriott Redwood City Completes Soft Renovation

Courtyard by Marriott Redwood City is showcasing a smart, contemporary aesthetic throughout guest rooms and shared spaces following the completion of a soft renovation.

“This refresh has created an atmosphere that is both stylish and inviting,” says Serina Delgado, General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Redwood City. “With fresh colors, updated furniture, and contemporary design elements, our new look is lighter, sleeker, and more vibrant.”

Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Courtyard Redwood City is owned and operated by OTO Development, which is part of The Johnson Group. 

The renovation is based on a palette of rich navy with cream, charcoal, and gold accents, all centered around the smart, casual décor preferred by modern travelers. Functionally, it’s all about spaces that serve guests’ needs.

“Our renovated guest rooms are thoughtfully designed for both working and relaxation,” Delgado explains, “while our communal spaces encourage mixing and mingling.”

OTO Development partnered with Schoenfelder Renovations to complete the project. In addition to new flooring and wallpaper throughout public and private spaces, updates include: 

• Guest Rooms: upgraded 55" HD TVs; new mattresses; new sleeper sofas and lounge chairs
• Lobby: updated furnishings
• The Bistro: new seating  
• Pool: updated deck furniture

Courtyard Redwood City comprises 177 rooms and suites, each featuring plush Marriott bedding along with a signature LoungeAround sofa, HD flat-screen TV, dedicated work space, and mini-fridge. Guest amenities at this LEED certified hotel include:

• 24/7 fitness center with cardio machines and separate spaces for weightlifting and stretching
